Tue 13 Dec Making Decorations
Join us to create unique Christmas decorations with recycled materials.
10.00am-11.30am 6-9 year olds

Thu 15 Dec Wrapping and Cardmaking
Use recycled materials to create your own native plant-printed wrapping paper and gift cards.

Tue 20 Dec Collaged Native Flower Christmas Cards
Walk in the Gardens with botanist Suzanne Aspland and then create collaged cards.

Thu 22 Dec Christmas Lanterns
Work with artist Kari to create lanterns from bamboo, paper and recycled materials.

Bookings are essential. All workshops are free but places are limited. Search for ‘What’s Happening at the Gardens’ at or phone 5475 7272.

How To Get Here
The Maroochy Arts and Ecology Centre is in the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, located on Palm Creek Rd, Tanawha, adjacent to the Tanawha Golf Course. Take the Sippy Downs, Buderim exit off the Bruce Highway. Take the Tanawha Tourist Drive turnoff (25) and simply follow the signs. UBD reference: Map 77 P18.

Opening Hours
The Garden is open from 7am to 5pm (April to October) and 7am to 6pm (November to March).
