The annual Christmas Tree Trail is bigger and better than ever with 32 community trees lighting up across the region.

These are not your average Christmas trees – they range size and species – from fabulous figs to pretty paperbarks and each will have a unique set of dazzling decorations.

Australian designed environmentally friendly Light Emitting Diode (LED) lighting features across council’s decorated trees, in keeping with our vision for the Coast to be Australia’s most sustainable region – vibrant, green and diverse.

The trail began three years ago when council spoke with Coast communities about how they celebrate Christmas and what they’d like to see in the region to mark the occasion. Resoundingly, locals asked for Christmas trees to be displayed in places where everyone could enjoy them.
