Get the scoop on result highlights from our recent community survey, which provide insight into depression stigma and help-seeking behaviours on the Sunshine Coast.
Daniel Schaefer, a local Sunshine Coast man, will also share his moving story of living with mental illness and provide his insight into the real challenges and barriers that people who are struggling with their mental health face when seeking help.
We will discuss how depression stigma on the Sunshine Coast differs from the wider Australian population and how this may impact help-seeking behaviours.
We will also explore how men and women differ in terms of their attitudes towards seeking professional help, and what this means in terms next steps for the Alliance for Suicide Prevention – Sunshine Coast.
