Tuesday 21 October 2008   Have you got talent?

Have you got talent?  Don't shut your instrument case for the holidays yet! Do you think you are one of tomorrow's classical superstars?  Could you be the next Nigel Kennedy, Benny Goodman, Bond Quartet or Horowitz? Your chance to learn with the master musicians of Endeavour Trio in a community masterclass from 10-1pm on Saturday 6th December at Cooran Hall, King Street, Noosa Hinterland.

Ideal for all aspiring musicians.  Take the opportunity to take a great musical leap in a short time in a concentrated and supportive learning environment.  Under the expert guidance of the Endeavour Trio's musicians, Paul Dean clarinet and woodwind, Louise King cello and strings and Dr. Stephen Emmerson piano and chamber music, the participants will perform in a masterclass - a public, observed lesson.  Interested friends and family will have the chance to listen, watch and support their development.

"This is a great performance opportunity for Sunshine Coast region's classical musicians," says cellist and organiser Louise King.  "It's exciting to bring such high calibre musicians and teaching to a regional area."

The masterclass will bring together talented string, wind and piano players of the Sunshine Coast Region in an inspiring and informal performance experience. The Endeavour trio are looking for solo pianists, instrumentalists, piano trios, string quartets or mixed instrumental chamber ensembles.  For a chance to show off your skills, aspiring and motivated students are welcome to apply online at Cello Dreaming, application forms and info are available from Louise on 0415 128799.

"This class is suitable for talented and motivated musicians and will benefit musician's young or old who want a different and refreshing outlook on their solo or group music-making, how to get the best out of your practice and professional performance tips," says clarinettist Paul Dean, member of Southern Cross Soloists and artistic director of Bangalow Festival.

The cost to participate in the class and receive three hours of inspiring tuition and guidance from not one but three of Australia's most sought after and celebrated teachers, is only $50 a participant.  To observe is $10 (under 10 is free).

Known for their artistic excellence and adventurous programming, the Endeavor Trio's combined soloists are celebrated Australia-wide for their exuberance in performance and dedication to educational projects.  About the presenters:
