Friday 26th August - Nature Discovery - At Noosa Parks Association's Environment Centre
8.30 am - Interpretive Birding at Wallace Park with Valda McLean.
10.15 am - Morning Tea.
10.30 am- Local environment news.
11.00 am- Public meeting with the Wilderness Society - "Forests and Free Speech". A National Tour to inform the Australian community about the fight to protect Tasmania's irreplaceable ancient forests and the crucial role the community plays in participating in public debate.
Sunday 28th - Cooloola Bushwalkers - Neebs Waterhole - graded tracks/swimming, wildflowers. Meet: East Mullen car park at 8.00 am. Leader Margaret Hamlyn 5446 1013
Sunday 28th - Botany Field trip to Girraween Estate. Meet at 9.30 am at the Sunrise Shopping Centre off Ben Lexcen Drive. Leader Stephanie Haslam 5499 8118

For additional information visit the Environment Centre, between 10 00 am and 2.00 pm each weekday, or phone on 5474 2486. The centre is staffed by volunteers for the public's information and enjoyment.
