The venue for this month's walk on Sunday 23rd has been changed to Gheerulla State Forest.
Gabby Bell (5447 7417) will be leading the Gheerulla Creek circuit of about 18Km. It is an easy track with some good views and a few slippery creek crossings, (Gabby has confirmed that concrete fords have since been constructed).
Meet either at the Environment Centre for a 7.30AM departure and car pooling, or at 8.00AM at the entry to the State Forest. (From Eumundi - Kenilworth Rd turn into Sam Kelly Rd., and drive to start of State Forest). UBD 33 16 G.

The Noosa Parks Associations weekly diary starts with Interpretive Birding with Bob Carey at the Environment Centre, Wallace Park, Noosaville on Friday, September 21st at 8.30 am. The Environment Forum on local flora and fauna is at 10.30 am.
At 11.15 Jutta Dyrchs-Jansen who has recently returned from Germany, will tell us about 'The Land of a Thousand Ponds' - A Working Biosphere Reserve in East Germany: the Upper Lusatia heath and Pond Region, everyone is welcome to come and hear this interesting talk.
