May is National Domestic Violence Prevention Month - come along to Alexandra Headland War Memorial at 5pm on Wednesday, May 2 and join the march followed by a moving candle lighting ceremony at Loo with a View at Mooloolaba to remember those who have been affected by domestic and family violence.
In partnership with Centacare SCOPE, we're calling on residents to unite and send a clear message that domestic and family violence will not be tolerated in our community.
The National Domestic Violence Prevention Month campaign will challenge Queenslanders to consider their attitudes towards domestic and family violence and recognise that a whole of community response is required to stop the violence.
