For me as a musician I've always found it inspiring to play amongst art - all that creativity in one space opens up minds" says Louise King, organiser and 'cellist. "The venue is small and intimate and I've discovered that people really enjoy listening to music this way. Both art forms enhance and highlight each other."
Music lovers will be delighted at hearing such world class talent is visiting Caloundra and are promised an inspiring concert which even the greatest venues of the world would be envious of presenting. The visiting musician's are Southern Cross Soloists oboist Tania Frazer with Topology's violinist Christa Powell, The Queensland Orchestra's newest Principal violinist Rachel Smith with ex-Sydney Symphony Orchestra's violist Belinda Williams and Cello Dreaming soloist, Louise King.
The guest musicians combined performing experience is simply outstanding and between them they have appeared with many of the world's finest orchestras including the Israel Opera Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, New Zealand Symphony, Australian Chamber Orchestra, Montreal Chamber Orchestra, Sydney Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic and the Halle Orchestra, England.
