Easter eggstravaganza markets at Imbil
IMBIL is expected to be bursting at the seams again this Easter, with camping grounds overflowing as people flock to Lake Borumba, one of the last remaining dams in the south-east to have any water in it.
As well, endurance riders from around Australia will bring their horses to the Imbil Showgrounds for the annual Easter carnival.
So it is just as well that the Imbil Sunday marketeers have planned an eggstravaganza on Easter Sunday - April 8, which will also feature a large trash and treasure sale.
Stallholder Margaret Teunissen said this was a great opportunity for small local businesses to make a few extra dollars.
"Now is the time to clear out your back room and shed, and organise yourselves to take along whatever you want to sell at the largest trash and treasure/market day in the Sunshine Coast region," Mrs Teunissen said.
"You have a couple of weeks to clear out your unwanted items.
"Remember, what you think of as trash, someone else may consider treasure!"
The markets are held weekly each Sunday from 8am-2pm.
