Lifeline Now Offers Evening Counselling Sessions
Lifeline Community Care Sunshine Coast has heard the community voice their needs and is going to see they are met. Starting Tuesday 3rd February Lifeline is holding evening counselling sessions at their offices at 37 Duporth Avenue in Maroochydore every Tuesday until 7:30 pm with the last appointment commencing at 6 p.m.
Due to the high influx of new clients Lifeline has recently accommodated, evening counselling sessions are the next logical step to help ease community burdens. With the economy in the state it is, people are feeling they need to work more and conserve their money better. To meet these needs Lifeline offers free counselling and now with evenings available clients don't have the extra stress and lack of money that comes with taking time off work. Often finding the time and money to see a counsellor is part of a clients' problem.
Lifeline offers Community and Individual Support Counsellors to assist anyone dealing with depression, grief and loss, low self-esteem, childhood abuse and relationship difficulties.
Lifeline also offers Parent and Child Support Counselling services which are available to assist parents who are dealing with the impact of separation and divorce on themselves and their children, who have a desire to improve family relationships and functioning, a desire to improve parenting techniques and understand child behaviour and development, a desire to learn from family history and increase understanding of oneself and one's family and the desire to face family challenges with confidence. Lifeline asks that you arrange your own childcare.
All counselling emphasizes the identification of your strengths and is offered in a respectful and non-judgemental atmosphere.
