A University of the Sunshine Coast exercise expert will present a public lecture on Friday 8 May on a topic that is close to the heart of every athlete – avoiding injury.
USC Sport’s Fitness Facilities Supervisor Aaron Turner will discuss the interventions that athletes can use to reduce their risk of non-contact injury.
He will also outline common non-contact injuries in sport and the factors that increase the risk of sustaining them.
Mr Turner’s presentation will be held at the USC Sports Stadium recreation room from 5.30-6pm as part of USC’s ‘Friday Night Sport Talks’ series.
