The Winter Warmer Full Moon Dance is here! We'll be keeping the good vibes, reggae, roots & blues pumping all through the year. The June 10 Full Moon Dance welcomes The Floating Bridges and Band of Frequencies supported by ITES and DJ Jesswah.
The last Full Moon Dance was a sell out and with these musical talents gracing our stage it will indeed be another magical night! THE FLOATING BRIDGES Now this is the kind of music you want to be enjoying the weekend with! The Floating Bridges create infectious roots music, blending together big lively ska grooves, thick bottom end bass lines and smooth four part vocal harmonies – perfect for the dance floor!
The Sunny Coast 7 piece have long been known for their passion and dedication to music, culture, community, and the environment, forever paying respect to those who have gone before and the land they walk upon. A band of total legends, The Floating Bridges are also avid ambassadors for Sea Shepherd and the Sunshine Butterflies. Not to be missed!
BAND OF FREQUENCIES One of Australia's premier jam bands & true believers in sounds beyond boundaries, Band of Frequencies draw their influences from a vast spectrum of blues, roots, rock, funk and psychedelic styles.
Their signature blend comes from years of live experimentation, constantly pushing their influences into the creative fires to see what melts, what explodes and what merges. They have now successfully forged a bond of sonic elements that represents their coastal roots and strikes a chord in the hearts of passionate music lovers around the globe.
It's this quality that has lead to invitations to grace the stages of diverse festivals, at home and abroad, and to record soundtracks to several internationally released surf films. A live set is a like a rollercoaster of music, just hang back and enjoy the ride. ITES It is rare to find a New Zealand grown, Australian based, Jamaican roots band however, the groove driven reggae machine ITES is exactly that! The five piece unite a multicultural combination of islander reggae and soul with a rebel twist.
ITES' live performance is a captivating display of kiwi swagger. Driven by front man and guitarist Eugene Ellison, the band brings to the spotlight earth conscious lyrics powered through melodic harmonies. 70's inspired reggae keys alongside primal bass and drums will get you grooving!
