One of the most important bushfoods to native aborigines, the fruit from the bunya pine is unlike any other. It's nutty and buttery, it's incredibly unique, it's versatile and it's delicious when cooked properly.
Learn all about the history of this fascinating species, how the aborigines used it in ceremonies, how they stored and cooked it, learn how to cook it yourself, and of course, try some!
Each runs for 2 hours and are suitable for adults only (babies in strollers are welcome if they tend to me sleeping/quiet).
The venue is a private residence in Maroochydore perfect for an intimate, relaxed and fun event.
$2 from every booking for each workshop will be donated to Headspace Maroochydore!
