Lycra, big hair, and those fluorescent tones are something that no-one from the 80’s can forget. But the question is, can you still cut loose like you did in the 80’s? Tribute show ‘Who Remembers The 80’s’ sure can!
Joanne Stanley, Debbie Hinton, and Rick Hay will take you back to that time of colour and fun as they perform all the greatest hits that you loved. Each of these of these talented musicians has decades of practice performing in front of crowds of all sizes, and this is what gives their show that extra something.
Joanne Stanley began her career at just ten years of age, she has performed on Countdown and TV’s ‘Happy-Go-Round’. She has also toured throughout New Zealand performing as Sandra Dee in a production of Grease. Joanne’s excellent vocal skill and prowess on stage are treat to watch.
Debbie Hinton is a classically trained pianist and her fingers are quicker than a flash of light. Her talent lends a subtle, rounded edge to the performance that many lack.
Rick Hay is the band’s resident guitar master. He is an expert in drawing out the intricacies of any song, from gentle and soulful picking to slamming power chords that knock the breath out of you. He’s had years of experience performing in various bands, but that experience is not as valuable as his unconquerable love for what he does.
