On behalf of the Sunshine Coast Health Foundation, we would like to
officially invite you along to the eagerly anticipated launch of their
inaugural Spring Carnival event in support of Juvenile Diabetes on
Thursday, May 21 at Coastline BMW, Currimundi at 6pm.
The event will see a number of business professionals and local personalities from across the region get behind this worthy cause, including renowned artist Kendall Perkins who will add colour and excitement by doing a live painting on the event.
Australia currently has one of the highest rates of Type1 diabetes with around one in 700 Australian children suffering from juvenile diabetes, making it one of the most common serious diseases amongst children an issue which Sunshine Coast Health Foundation Manager, Lisa Rowe believes needs more recognition.
The launch will provide guests with a preview of what is to be expected from the September Spring Carnival event and will provide a number of great interview and photo opportunities with loads of colour, glamour, fashion and art high on the agenda, not to mention a few miniature horses and jockey's on parade.
