SEMINAR HELPS SUNHINE COAST SMALL BUSINESS PUT THE PEDAL TO THE METAL
Fast growing small businesses from the Sunshine Coast region are invited to attend a business seminar to learn more about managing their growth and getting State Government assistance.
Member for Kawana & Minister for Small Business, Chris Cummins, said the hGH 4 Business Seminar will address the challenges that face most high growth businesses.
"The seminar will also outline highly effective and proven strategies that have helped many businesses to manage their growth well," Mr Cummins said.
"There will also be useful guidance on how to identify and harness the internal and external forces that may be influencing the growth of a small business and sources of information, support and financial assistance that can ease the growing pains.
"Great entrepreneurs have both strengths and weaknesses that contribute to their overall ability to succeed. Often at times, these personal attributes may also put them and their businesses at risk."
"The hGH 4 Business Seminar will also provide insights to small business owners on how to harness their strengths and manage their risks."
The presenter of the hGH 4 Business Seminar is Peter Rowe, a speaker with a 30-year background in small business. He is currently a Director of five companies, an Accredited Business Improvement Specialist and a Member of the Institute of Management Consultants.
The seminar is part of the State Government's ongoing commitment to small business in Queensland and its highly successful Small Business Accelerator Program, designed to help well-managed fast growing businesses remain on track.
The hGH 4 Business Seminar will be held at the Sands Tavern, Plaza Parade, Maroochydore, on Monday 5 September from 6pm to 9pm with registrations from 5.30pm.
