Our first High Tea was a huge success so we are having one more before the festive season starts.
Erin House is a safe house for women who are experiencing domestic violence. As part of their service to our community they also help women who have lost everything to set up again in their own homes. We wanted to do something to assist this process and to raise awareness and funds for Erin House.
Kingston House, along with several local businesses run by women, organised a series of 'High Teas' for ladies for the benefit of Erin House. The first High Tea that was held raised over $300, which was used to improve the children's facilities at the safe house.
We are holding one last High Tea this year and we are hoping to make it a big one. The ticket price includes tea, coffee and delicious cakes and pastries.
We will be collecting items for donation to Erin House. This is fabulous chance for you and your women friends to spring clean your homes and put your unwanted items to go to a good cause.
Some fabulous goods will be on sale, including Bessemer Cookware, Tri nature cleaning and laundry products, Lorraine Lea Linen, Creative Memories, Curious Kids Toys and Nikken wellness water filters, health produces and massage.
It will be a great chance to meet with other women, catch up with friends, do a spot of shopping and of course munch on some delightful morsels of food.
Each person also receives three tickets to be drawn through out the afternoon to win some of our fabulous donated prizes to win.
