Some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading CEOs and celebrities will attend the Big Kart Track’s inaugural CEO v Celebrity challenge awards night this Thursday night.
Owner of the Big Kart Track Ferre De Deyne said the CEO v Celebrity challenge was a huge success and was likely to become an annual event.
“The response from the business community was excellent, it was great to see them all come out and enjoy themselves and participate in the races at our recently refurbished facility. Some were very competitive while others just enjoyed the experience, at the end of the day it was a lot of fun and a great way for us to expose what we are offering here at the Big Kart Track to some of the region’s leading movers and shakers,” he said.
High profile locals who participated in the event included Clint Robinson, Kirsty Holmes, Cr Tim Dwyer, Lisa Curry, Tristan Kurz, Gary Crick, Mimi McPherson, Mick Sullivan as well as Darren and Jordan Mercer.
Ferre said a number of awards would be given out on Thursday night including fastest CEO and Celebrity, Slowest Driver, Most Competitive Driver and the much anticipated Hottest Driver.
“We will also be hitting the track again so it’s a great opportunity for everyone to enjoy the great facilities we have on offer at the Big Kart Track,” Ferre said.
The event commences at 5.30 at the Big Kart Track Landsborough and all local media are welcome to attend.
