Seven principal dancers from the San Francisco Ballet create two Australian performances, exclusive to The Noosa Longweekend Festival

A constellation of International Ballet Stars will beguile audiences with two Australian performances, exclusive to the Noosa Longweekend Festival. This extraordinary group, under the direction of internationally renowned dancer Damian Smith, will perform eight pieces that are certain to thrill and delight dance aficionados and novices alike.

The seven principals, (together with Ballet Master Parrish Maynard), Vanessa Zahorian, Davit Karapetyan, Sarah Van Patten, Pierre-Francois Vilanoba, Australian-born Damian Smith, Frances Chung and Gennadi Nedvigin all have danced and performed in world renowned ballet companies such as the Kirov, Bolshoi, Zurich, Royal Danish Ballet and the Paris Opera before joining the San Francisco Ballet.

The works are a mixture of traditional classical favourites including Pas de Deux from Swan Lake and stirring original contemporary dance pieces.

The Noosa Longweekend Festival is fielding strong interest from across the eastern seaboard for this event, so book early!
