Have you heard about Permaculture, and wanted to find out Permaculture more? Here is a very special opportunity, not usually offered.
On Saturday and Sunday, 1st & 2nd December an Introduction to Permaculture course will be held at the Memorial Hall, Maple St, Cooroy from 9am-5pm both days.
Permaculture Noosa is sponsoring this course, but you don’t have to be a member to participate. The offer is open to the public. The cost of the course is $50.00 per person.
The course will cover the basics of Permaculture giving an insight into Permaculture concepts, ethics and design principles. This will include details of water harvesting, swales, zones, plus much more.
It will be presented by Tom Kendall, a very experienced Permaculture practitioner and teacher, from the Permaculture Research Institute Sunshine Coast.
Beginning at 9am each day, there will be ½ hour breaks for morning and afternoon tea and a one hour break for lunch (BYO lunch) and we will finish at 5pm. There will be a lot of information, as well as time to have all your permaculture questions answered and also the possibility of visiting one or more permaculture properties. Bring pen and writing paper for taking notes.
