With a winter wonderland right here in the Zoo, we’re embracing the colder weather and celebrating the change of seasons! While some animals thrive in the heat, plenty of Australia Zoo’s will be joining in the snowy fun!

20th Century Fox and Visit Sunshine Coast are turning Australia Zoo into a wildlife park for all the Ice Age characters! With ‘Ice Age: Collision Course’ hitting the cinemas these winter school holidays, characters will be roaming the Zoo to meet fans of the movie!*
* Roaming characters will occur from 9-12 on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the school holiday period.
With a smorgasbord of snow themed activities, our winter playground includes real snow production, toboggan rides, snowball activities and Ice Age characters to cheer you all on! Not only that, Scrat, the saber-toothed squirrel, seems to have lost some acorns and needs your help to get them back by visiting Ice Age animals throughout the Zoo!
If it starts to get too cold, Bindi and the Jungle Girls will be there to heat things up again with their new Tropical themed, never-before-seen show! With all new catchy tunes and moves to learn, join in the fun and sing along! Shows start from the 2nd of July.
In a packed show where they’ll get up close to their favourite ancient animals, the Irwin family will be feeding the crocs from the 2nd to the 10th of July, following Bindi and the Jungle Girl’s performance!
