New term, new opportunities at Learning Co-op
Interested in taking a short course in art, craft, computers, general studies, health and fitness, languages or personal development?
Caloundra City Mayor Don Aldous said Caloundra City Libraries will be taking enrolments for a diverse range of courses being offered by the Learning Co operative starting Thursday 11 October.
"The Learning Co-operative is an innovative extension program of the Library service and offers courses in a wide range of subjects including knitting and crochet for beginners; scrap booking; computers; music; cooking; languages and life coaching to name a few," Cr Aldous said.
"Running since 1991, it continues to be an outstanding success thanks to the many volunteers who expend enormous effort and time to share their knowledge and expertise."
Enrolments are open at the Caloundra Central Library until Friday 19 October for the fourth term, with most classes commencing the week of Monday 29 October.
Tuition fees are $30 and must be paid upon enrolment. Most classes are for one session per week, for six weeks.
Late enrolments will only be accepted at the Learning Co-operative, 60 George Street, Caloundra.
To enrol or for more information, contact the Learning Cooperative on 5492 6511 (9am to noon, Monday to Friday).
