This event is aimed at men who were diagnosed in the past year with prostate cancer and their families. The focus is on how to harness your strengths to improve your overall health, wellbeing and cancer resilience.

Our speaker will address common questions such as, how much exercise is appropriate? Does it improve survivorship? What foods might help or hinder recovery? Can I expect return of erectile function? How can I reduce any bladder leakage?

Assistant Professor Craig Allingham (Bond University) is a Men's Health physiotherapist from a high performance medicine background (Olympic teams and a Fellow of Sports Medicine Australia) who believes men have many strengths that can be trained to advantage to improve their quality of life after a diagnosis of prostate cancer.

Craig regularly teaches around Australia and overseas as part of his quest to improve men's health. With four sons he has plenty of skin in the game. Craig will outline a Men's Action Plan for Prostrate Recovery.
