Sunshine Coast food enterprises will indulge in a degustation of business development topics in July.
As part of the 2013 Real Food Festival, the organisers are running a series of short Food Enterprise Development Workshops in Maleny and Maroochydore.
“One of the key objectives of the Festival is to support the Sunshine Coast local food economy by helping enterprises develop their knowledge and skills,” says Julie Shelton, founder and director of the Real Food Festival.
“Last year we received enthusiastic feedback from the workshops – participants had a more successful exhibiting experience and used everything they learned to benefit their enterprise in the long term.”
The workshops are deliberately designed to suit small-scale enterprises with busy owner/operators, who need only dedicate one or two hours if they want to participate in just one session.
Participants will gather information and learn skills that will directly benefit their business and can be put into practice at the 2013 Real Food Festival, which is being held in Maleny in September. They will also learn what questions they should be asking in their business and when dealing with service suppliers. This year, eight different topics will be covered:
Local Food Enterprise Development Workshops
Maleny and Maroochydore
The Workshops will be ran on the 11th and 18th of July and when booked in advance cost just $5 per person per sessions plus a small booking fee.
Places are Limited so early booking is recommended
