James Colquhoun presents 'Making an impact - Turning your passion into your profession' at the Innovation Centre's next Enterprise Tuesday on 4 May, 2010.
James Colquhoun considers himself an accidental entrepreneur -- his passion for nutrition led him to produce the documentary Food Matters on nutrition, health and wellbeing with partner Laurentine ten Bosch.
Although James may be a modest filmmaker, the feature Food Matters cracking the international market with 100,000 sales and airing in more than 30 countries worldwide is nothing to sneeze at.
James identified a niche and built a business not only to create a better life for himself but to add value to other lives. He has achieved all of this from a Sunshine Coast base at the Innovation Centre working with a virtual extended team from across the world.
Interest in Food Matters continues to grow with over 95,000 people visiting their website in one month.
