The Honourable Chris Cummins
MARKET RESEARCH WORKSHOP FOR GYMPIE SMALL BUSINESSES
Small Business Minister Chris Cummins is encouraging Gympie small business operators to attend a Market Research Springboard workshop at the Gympie Pines Golf Club tomorrow, 23rd August.
Mr Cummins said the workshop cost $22 and would run from 6 - 9 pm.
"Market research plays a key role in all successful businesses and this interactive workshop combines information with examples and activities to reveal the concepts and benefits of market research," he said.
"Participants will gain an understanding of: how market research can influence their bottom line; how to gather and use information; tools to assist research; and, how to develop a market research plan.
"To book for the Market Research Springboard Workshop or for more information, telephone the Maryborough State Development Centre on 41211780 or visit www.sd.qld.gov.au/maryborough
Mr Cummins said local small business people should also explore the additional services and support provided through the State Development Centre.
"The Beattie Government has invested significant funding in the local region to support small business growth and job creation," he said.
"We offer a range of funding programs, as well as workshops and business coaching because we know that small business is driving regional economies."
