Mary River dam public meeting at Gympie
All interested residents along the Mary Valley are encouraged to attend this public meeting, and to participate actively in question time and any discussion.
When: Sunday, September 16
Where: The Pavilion @ Gympie Showgrounds
Why: To discuss the ramifications of the Senate Inquiry report and the next steps in the campaign to have the decision to build a dam at Traveston Crossing overturned.
Meeting called by Cooloola Mayor Mick Venardos.
Speakers include: Federal MP Warren Truss, Cr Vernados, Cooloola Shire Council engineer Bob Fredman, State MP Dave Gibson, & Save the Mary River Coordinating Group leader Kevin Ingersole.
