Looping has been used for at least the past 20,000 years to make baskets, bags and traps. Go on a journey with artist Tim Johnson and learn ancient tecnhniques to make contemporary bags, baskets and wall hangings with locally available natural fibres.
Explore a variety of looping techniques with fixed knot structures. This workshop gives an excellent overview of the possibilities for both functional and contemporary basketmaking and textile projects.
