As one of the Sunshine Coast’s biggest live entertainment drawcards, Michelle has built up a loyal following and moulded a reputation for consistently stylish and polished performances. Up front, Michelle has that special 'X' Factor, honed through years of solo and group performing, that sets her apart from the pack. Michelle stimulates, mesmerises and moves her audience from start to finish with her unique style of blues, rock, soul funk and everything in between.
Add John Maier’s piano skills to the mix and you’ve got a duo that packs venues throughout the coast. Prior to being the engine room of the Michelle Brown Duo, John Maier was a very successful resort and club entertainer all over Queensland compering, singing, playing piano and drums. As well as playing live, his versatility, passion for recording and expertise in music production and arrangement are well known. Being from a musical family, John’s first professional gig was in his father’s dance band aged eleven launching a successful career spanning four decades.
John’s partnership with Michelle gives the duo an edge that leaves many in awe and one of the most popular and successful acts in Australia. From relaxing dinner music to full-on dance groove, The Michelle Brown Duo always delivers a stylish, diverse and crowd-pleasing show.
