How do we get out of the cycle of worrying about the past or future, or relieve the feeling of being pushed around by difficult emotions? Mindfulness provides us with practical skills to be more present, at peace, and open to the everyday joy of small moments.
In this workshop we will practice guided meditation, applied mindfulness techniques and mental strategies to help you unhook from distracting thoughts and feelings and find greater calm, insight and self-compassion. This workshop will appeal to new meditators and those with an established practice. Sunday 19 February 9.00am—3.30pm at the Wellbeing Centre Facility fee $95 10% discount for concession card holders. Meals must be booked before 9.30 am on the day of the event.
Lindel Greggery teaches mindfulness to individuals, work teams and organisations and is qualified in Corporate Based Mindfulness Training and ACT, a mindfulness-based therapy . She has been blessed to attend retreats with leading teachers including Alan Wallace and Matthieu Ricard.
Chenrezig Institute is a not for profit Buddhist study & retreat Centre in the Hinterland. Which also offers a Wellbeing Centre for non-religious courses towards health & happiness.
