This one-day course will explore different kinds of mindfulness in motion, including walking meditation, breathing meditation and eating mindfully.
Mindfulness is calm awareness of our body's functions, feelings, the content of our consciousness, or consciousness itself. It plays a central role in Buddhist meditation where "correct" or "right" mindfulness is a critical factor in the path to liberation and subsequent enlightenment.
We can also learn to be mindful of our everyday behavior, not just when we're meditating. You don't have to be Buddhist to come along; this is a general course open to everyone. Facility fee $49. Accommodation and meals available separately.
