Eumundi's outdoor cinema, "Flicks in the Sticks" has announced its
next screening --"Monty Python's and the Holy Grail" (PG) -- on Easter
Saturday April 23 at the Eumundi Showgrounds.
"Easily one of the funniest movies of all time, The Holy Grail is sure to appeal to lots of people", says Flicks Director Trent Harvison. "Everyone has their favourite lines and songs and this could be one of the most quoted movies of all time. The Monty Python team were at their funniest in this side-splitting send-up of the legend of King Arthur and his knight's quest to find the Holy Grail"
"Easter holiday makers will be able to experience one of the Sunshine Coast's most enjoyable attractions. Since starting in December 2009 we've gained a loyal following who come along to each movie and dress in costume and sing along to the songs", says Trent. "We all have a great time under the stars, and it's a real family friendly environment."

A bit about the movie...
Monty Python and the Holy Grail loosely follows the legend of King Arthur. They do not travel on horses, but pretend they do and have their servants bang coconuts to make the sound of horse's hooves.Arthur recruits his Knights of the Round Table, battles the Black Knight and despite all his limbs being chopped off, the Black Knight continues to try fighting. They are instructed by God to seek out the Holy Grail. Throughout their search they meet interesting people -- including the Knights who say 'Ni'. Most of the characters die; some through a killer rabbit or in some other ridiculous way. In the end, King Arthur and Sir Bedevere are left and find the Castle Arrrghhh where the Holy Grail is. A laugh out loud riot from start to finish, this is the perfect movie for a relaxing Easter Saturday.
