Johnny started his musical journey in Sydney joined with three Kiwis and formed the very popular
Maori Troubadours who toured extensively throughout Australia and overseas including appearances in Las Vegas, Honolulu, the Bahamas and several Playboy Clubs in Europe the UK and Far East.
After returning to Australia Johnny showcased his talents as one of Australia’s leading jazz musicians and appeared regularly on TV shows and the famous Don Burrows Supper Club in Sydney.
Highlights of Johnny’s career including opening Australian tours fo Benny Goodman and The Modern Jazz Quartet. Johnny also has been nominated for a number of major awards including the MO AWARD the inaugural RICKY MAY AWARD and the Artists and Performing Rights Award for the best Australian composition “Where the Love is”.
Johnny will be supported by Australia’s best musicians.
The costs are $20.00 for Jazz Club Members, $22.50 Concession Holders and U3A Members and $25.00 for visitors.
