Celebrate National Reconciliation Week with this special event - presented by Sunshine Coast Libraries.

Catch the inspirational movie MABO (Rated PG) at a twilight screening with FREE* POPCORN in the Jack Morgan Park, 6 Park St, Coolum (next to the library).

MABO is a story of love, passion and justice starring Jimi Bani and Deborah Mailman.

BYO blanket or chairs. No alcohol permitted. Free community event. Registration not required.

The MABO movie screening is a part of National Reconciliation Week (27 May-3 June) and Mabo Day (3 June) celebrations with the 2019 theme 'Grounded in Truth: Walk Together with Courage'.

Experience a Welcome to Country, First Nations dancers, Q&A discussion, food van and more.

In the event of wet weather, the event may be moved to Coolum Civic Centre - next to the park. Check Sunshine Coast Libraries Facebook page for updates.

This is a fully inclusive event with facilities available at Coolum Civic Centre and Coolum Library.

*Free popcorn includes one small serve per person until sold out.
