"Music to the Max" starring Danny Elliott

Wednesday 18th October @ 11:00am

Morning Tea from 10:00am

A world-class entertainer is what you get with the vibrant and energetic Danny Elliott.  Danny brings audiences to their feet wherever he performs! Passengers aboard the most prestigious world cruise liners have been stunned . . . . . . .

"Just had standing ovations both houses (the only act to do so since Neil Sedaka) and this is a cruel

audience. Danny does what most entertainers fail to do - he fills the stage."

                                                    Brian R.Price, Cruise Director, QEII.

Mastering multiple musical instruments over an exceptional career, Danny has combined this talent with outstanding stagecraft and vocal qualities. The montage of musical styles presented by this versatile performer guarantee to entertain old and young alike.

Cabaret performances are Danny's forte together with successful personally directed production shows including the much acclaimed Australian-themed "Stars of the Southern Cross", which takes you on a musical journey featuring songs composed or performed by Australians and music from Australian movies. "The Elton Experience" is a musical tribute to the great Elton John and "Instrumental as Anything", a showcase of memorable favourites utilising his vast array of instruments combined with rich vocals and dance.

Frequently Sharna, his lovely wife and a very exciting performer in her own right, joins Danny on stage. Their vocal harmonies are a musical treat, as are their lively performances in Sharna's duo, "Sweet Talk".

Danny is an accomplished music arranger, not only writing personal scores, but also writing for other members of the entertainment industry. This talent has led to the compilation of his own CD's, which feature his numerous instruments, vocal prowess and skilful musical arrangements.

In recognition for excellence in live performance, Danny's versatility and expertise have been rewarded. He was winner of the inaugural Australian Club Entertainment (ACE) Award for "Versatile Variety Performer of the Year" and again in 2004, augmenting his prestigious multi "MO Awards" for "Vocal / Instrumental Performer of the Year".

Career highlights include rave reviews for Cabaret shows aboard the QEII and his performances with Marina Prior and the Tommy Tycho orchestra at the Civic Theatre, Newcastle. Furthermore Danny was the supporting act to Shirley Bassey on her last Australian Tour, performing to sell out crowds at the Royal Theatre, Canberra and the Convention Centre, Brisbane.

Audiences without exception agree that Danny has a unique talent and they cannot help sharing the enjoyment of his time on stage. Danny's performances generate a desire to be involved in a wonderful experience with him.
