The Country Music Muster....not just for cowboys!

If you were thinking the Toyota National Country Music Muster was just about music for cowboys...think again!

Some fabulous comedy acts will be headlining The Big Top Saturday program at the Muster. The Umbilical Brothers and the Kransky Sisters will lead the charge and bring their wacky comedy acts to the bush!

Everyone knows the Muster is the place for fabulous music and this year you¹ll be able to laugh out loud in a unique setting!

The Umbilical Brothers and the Kransky Sisters almost need no introductions; they have cult followings and fans who are addicted to their zany acts.

The Umbilical Brothers have won the Australian Entertainment Industry¹s Mo award for the Best Comedy Group for five years running.

The Umbilical Brothers, aka David Collins and Shane Dundas have been wowing the crowds with their crazy sense of humor, since they met in acting school in 1988.

The two class clowns have a strong comedy bond, hence the umbilical reference, and share what they describe as ³a kind of laughing magic².

The Umbilical Brothers have taken their off the cuff humour around the world, with shows in UK, Singapore, Spain, Germany, USA and Canada. Their recent shows, Thwak, The Upside Down Show, The Rehearsal and Speedmouse have all featured their own particular brand of fun!

Like the Umbilical Brothers, the Kransky Sisters are renowned for their individual style!

For those who are yet to meet the oddball spinsters from rural Queensland, The Kransky Sisters have a fairly unique brand of humour!

Their new show, Heard It On the Wireless features a music and comic performance that has been described as ³so tuned out... it¹s tuned in!²

Their act is acclaimed as rare, exciting, whimsical, warm and wonderfully polished entertainment.

Using an old reed keyboard, guitar, musical saw, tuba and cooking pot, these unworldly sisters offer their own insights into what they hear on their wireless.

See this new show under The Big Top at the Muster and you are sure to become a Kransky convert!

The Muster is held in the Amamoor Creek State Forest Park, near Gympie, from August 21 to 26.

Just 2 hours north of Brisbane and 40 minutes from Noosa, the Muster is the perfect place to enjoy a week or just a day out and a bit of a laugh!
