Looking for Love…this one is a well-kept secret….in the little village of Boreen Point, on the shores of the great and soulful Lake Cootharaba, in the headwaters of Noosa River…every New Years Eve the locals put on a street party, right next to the beach…live music, dancing in the streets, kids' activities, watch the moon sparkle across the water, flares at midnight…sooo beautiful (and no bang to scare the animals and the kids)…and every year for the past SIX years…people have fallen in Love…and stayed in Love!!! Hosted by Lake Cootharaba Sailing Club-Licensed Bar…and food. BYO chair, blanket, table, nibbles…and get ready to make a wish.
Boreen Parade closes 6pm till 1am but the real action starts 7pm till 12.30am.
