Night Discovery Walk (Kondalilla)
Do creatures of the night amaze you?  Experience the bush at night - a slight rustle in the bushes, flapping of unseen wings and a pair of large glowing eyes staring down at you.  Come along and find out some interesting facts about creatures of the night on the easy paced guided spotlight walk.  End the night with a hot cuppa and a chat.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.  Minimum age 8 years.
When: Monday evening 07 April
Where: Kondalilla National Park
Cost: $12.85 adult, $8.20 child, $34.15 family

Mount Tibrogargan Circuit Walk - Glass House Mountains
Hear about the amazing history of the Glass House Mountains and identify local plants and animals.  This walk leads around the base of Mount Tibrogargan through casuarina groves, open eucalypt and melaleuca forests.  Appreciate this mountain's beauty without climbing it - there are wonderful photo opportunities along the way to capture the mountain.  Morning tea provided.
Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.  Minimum age 8 years.
When: Wednesday morning 09 April
Where: Mount Tibrogargan section, Glass House Mountains National Park
Cost: $12.85 adult, $8.20 child, $34.15 family
 
 
Join a Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) rangers on a 'Go Bush' activity in Sunshine Coast parks and forests these school holidays and discover the wonders of nature first-hand.
 
QPWS Ranger Cheryl Thomson said the ongoing program offered opportunities to enjoy activities only Queensland's national parks and forests could provide.
 
"Check out what's happening in your Sunshine Coast parks — you'll be amazed at what's out there," Miss Thomson said.
 
"During the school holidays you can explore the rainforest at Kondalilla National Park or take a walk around the Glass House Mountains.
 
"The activities are for locals and visitors to the coast. Night walks are always popular at Noosa and Kondalilla National Parks, so it is best to book early!"
 
"School holidays are full of fun activities for the whole family, with activities being run at various locations. The spectacular Glass House Mountains National Park are on our back doorstep and these walks are the perfect opportunity to explore the peaks with a ranger guide."
