Nikki Osborne is an Australian actress, comedian and Autism awareness ambassador. Nikki debuted her stand up show “On The Spectrum” at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Due to the controversial topic, the show made national and international headlines as protestors petitioned to have the show shut down before it even began. On The Spectrum ended up the most talked about show of the festival with audiences praising it’s humorous insight whilst others maintain that autism is no laughing matter.
Yes, Osborne’s show covers the traits of autism but a highlight of the show is her hysterical insight into people’s bizarre behaviour on social media and modern dating. Nobody is spared.
Nikki has worked alongside Australia’s biggest comedic talents such as Dave Hughes, Mick Molloy, Peter Hellier, Ronny Chieng, Nick Cody and Troy Kinne. She has been invited to perform at The Opera House in November. Next year she will commence filming on her own sketch comedy show.
Those who have seen the show praise Osborne’s ability to take you on an emotional roller coaster ride. You laugh, you cry then you laugh harder. This is not your average stand up show.
