TransLink bus customers across the Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and
Redlands regions should expect disruptions due to industrial action this
TransLink has been advised by operators Surfside (Gold Coast), Sunbus (Sunshine Coast) and Veolia (Redlands) that TWU members will stop work for 24 hours from 4am, September 1.
Service levels will vary from region to region so customers should check www.translink.com.au and 13 12 30 and make alternative arrangements where necessary.
Bus drivers work under a Federal Award, however TransLink is focused on getting buses and people moving again and keeping our customers informed of what’s happening during this dispute.
Services changes for Thursday, September 1 will include:
• Sunshine Coast – Sunbus services
o No Sunbus services will operate
o School services run by BusLink will not be affected
• Redlands Shire – Veolia services
