The Noosa Australia Day Festival in Lions Park, Gympie Tce, Noosaville on Thursday 26 January by the Noosa River has live music, children’s fun, pony rides, sailing, Aussie food and a citizenship ceremony.

The stage entertainment program is:

  • 8.30-9am: AzUR
  • 9am: Official welcome by Noosa Mayor Tony Wellington and Federal Member for Wide Bay Llew O’Brien

  • 9.10-9.45am: AzUR
  • 9.45-10am: Cooking demonstration, Aussie favourites with a twist, with chef Woody Theuerl
  • 10-10.15am: Nickleby the Magician
  • 10.15-11.15am: Mark Moroney
  • 11.15-11.30am: Nickleby the Magician
  • 11.30am-12.30pm: Andrea Kirwin
  • 12.30-12.45pm: Nickleby the Magician
  • 12.45-1.45pm: Sharon Brooks Duo
  • 1.45-2pm: Nickleby the Magician
  • 2-3pm: Ryan Giles Band
  • 3-3.10pm: Musos jam

Noosa Council’s Australia Day citizenship ceremony will be held at The J Theatre, Noosa Heads on 

Australia Day

Time: 7am-3pm (entertainment from 8.30am)

Where: Lions Park, Gympie Tce, Noosaville

Parking: Chaplin Park, next to Lions Park (off Mill St) – follow the signs
