We all know that plastic in our ocean and on our beaches is one of the greatest threats to marine ecosystems. In recent weeks there have been alarming reports that marine plastics will outweigh fish in the ocean by 2050 unless drastic action is taken.
Next Wednesday, Aaron White, Greens Candidate for Noosa Shire Council will be joined by Australian Greens Senator for Tasmania, Peter Whish-Wilson along with representatives from our community, local groups and council to discuss how we can work together to keep Noosa and the Sunshine Coast beautiful by reducing plastic pollution in our local environements.

Noosa Beaches and Marine Plastics - a local forum on a global issue

Time: 6pm for a 6:30 start, finishing at 8:30pm
Venue: The J Theatre, 60 Noosa Drive, Noosa Junction
The event is free and all ages are welcome. We'll have complimentary tea, coffee and light refreshements available after the event. We'll also have some live music after the forum portion of the evening has concluded. This promises to be a fun and informative evening!
