How is it that some people get money out of the government and others don’t?
The answer is knowing which section of government is offering which grants to which organisations.
It seems there’s something for everyone and the answer of how to win some of the 600 grants available in Australia will be revealed at the Noosa Chamber of Commerce & Industry’s public meeting on Monday 12 March. It will be held at Trio’s Restaurant, at the Noosa Marina, starting at 5.30pm with time for networking. There’s no charge. Members and non-members are welcome.
Guest Speakers and grant experts are John Alwyn-Jones and Alan Whitley from Celtica Consult Pty Ltd
They specialise in identifying grant money opportunities. They have a particular interest in tourism, and will also discuss the top ten tips to manage tourism and associated businesses in an economic downturn.
Mr Alwyn-Jones says there are more than $5 billion worth of grants paid out by the three tiers of government annually.
“The Queensland tourism industry, especially on the Sunshine Coast, is in a very favourable position indeed, being eligible across more programs than any other industry sector,” he said.
