Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service is again presenting the exciting 'Go Bush' nature-based family activity program in national parks and State forests on the Sunshine Coast this July Holidays.

18. Noosa Gubbi Gubbi trail
Take a journey with a Gubbi Gubbi guide to learn about bush food, medicines and tools. Finish off by listening to the sounds of the didgeridoo. (Minimum age 10 years).

19. Night discovery walk (A & B)
Do creatures of the night amaze you? A slight rustle in the bushes, flapping of unseen wings and a pair of large glowing eyes staring down at you. Come along and find out some interesting facts about creatures of the night on the easy paced guided spotlight walk. End the night with a hot cuppa and a chat. (Minimum age 8 years).

GLASS HOUSE MOUNTAINS
 
20. Mt Ngungun walk (moderate)
Climb to the summit of Mt Ngungun with a ranger guide. Discover the geological history and enjoy the 360-degree views from the summit and learn about local flora magnificence. A medium level of fitness required.  Morning tea provided. (Minimum age 8 years).
 
When: Thursday 29 June
Where: Mt Ngungun, Glass House Mountains National Park

22. Birdwatching at Buckley's
Bribie Island is rich in birdlife. Discover why these birds call Bribie home. A short informative walk with a local guide. (Minimum age 10 years).
 
When: Wednesday 5 July
Where: Buckley's Hole Conservation Park, Brisbie Island
Cost: $5.30 adult/child

Bookings confirmed only on receipt of fees. Places will not be held without payment. Family discount: A 'family' consists of two adults and two children.
 
Cancellation policy
Cancellations by participants made 14 days in advance of activity will receive a credit (to be used within 11 months) or a refund (less $25 processing fee). Less than 14 days receive no credit or refund.  Cancellations by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service will result in full refunds or credit (to be used within 11 months).
 
Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service reserves the right to determine in consultation with course convenors if activities will proceed or if they should be cancelled because of unfavourable weather or any other reason. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that their activity is going ahead by calling the Park on the morning of that activity
