Friday 16th to Thursday 22nd February.
This weeks Environment Forum at the Noosa Parks Association's Environment Centre, Wallace Park, Noosaville, starts Friday 16th at 8.30 am - Interpretive Birding at Wallace Park with Valda McLean.
10.15 am - Morning Tea. 10.30 am - Reports on local flora and fauna
11.15 am - Ecologist Dr Lyndon DeVantier will talk about the 'Environmental Risk Assessment' for the proposed Traveston Crossing Dam.
We are inviting everyone to come along, members and the general public, to hear him speak about the ecology and the endangered species threatened by the dam, and what we can do to stop this dam.

Monday 19th - 10.00 am Bird Observer's meeting at the Environment Centre guest speaker Tim Lennon will highlight the plight of the Glossy Black-Cockatoo and show a film he made about this. Again the general public is invited to attend. Contact Valda McLean 5476 2123 for more info.
