The spokesman for the event Ian Marshall said that the event known affectionally as: Noosa 'The Hill' Classic Car Hill Climb 2006 will be held this year over the week end of 11 and 12 November, 2006. This year is the 10th annual event, organised jointly by the Noosa Beach Classic Car club and the Qld Historic Car Club.
Each year the event attracts the maximum number of cars that it can accommodate (170 cars) of every marque to the event. Situated in the Qld State forest on Gyndier Drive, just outside Tewantin off the Tewantin - Cooroy road. This years event promises to be the best event yet held with a number of improvements having been made to the track and facilities since last years event.
The week end is popular with car competitors, enthusiast and their families as the ambience created by this event thru the natural setting of the hilly state forest is simply stunning.
Each year we see new cars not seen before and many of these being famous having enjoyed a rich history. The event is popular with some classic drivers of yesterday and has already had Vern Schuppan, Kevin Bartlett, Dick & Steve Johnson just to name a few. We expect that this years event will also attract some key name drivers as well.
Spectator gates open from 9.00am and admission for adults is only $15.00 for a one day entry or $20 for the whole week end with accompanied children under 14 admitted free.

Historic Noosa 'The Hill' Will be run on the weekend of 11th & 12th November 2006 At Gyndier Drive, Tewantin. The event is open to the public from 8 am both days. The entry cost is Adults $15.00 per day with children under 14 free and $20.00 for a weekend ticket. The event is a historic car race meeting, with some significant and historic racing cars running against the clock on the twisty 1.5 kilometre track.
Food and drinks will be available at several location around the venue. Free buses will be provided to get spactators around the circuit and entry gates are situated on Gyndier Drive, Cooroy Road and Sunrise Road.
