TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 11 TO SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 16
Arguably the strongest hockey nation in the world, the Aussies are coming to Buderim for one of the most important steps in their Olympic campaign.
Will the Kookaburras make it back to back Olympic Gold in Beijing? First step, qualification; and standing in their way? Trans Tasman rivals - the New Zealand Black Sticks. With so much on the line, and so much history between these two sporting nations, competition on the pitch will be fierce.
The Hockeyroos are one of the most successful sporting teams in Olympic history. After dominating the sport for twelve years, a new blend of Hockeyroos are forging their own path, creating their own destiny and have their eyes firmly set on gold in Beijing. Buderim will be the first step on the long road to Olympic glory.
