The Noisy Pitta is a ground-dwelling bird living in the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. It is described by author Narelle Oliver as "...a little bit of rainbow, chirping and flickering in the forest shadows".
Cheryl Nonmus from Paintbox will work with young artists as they study this adorable subject through watercolour. Focusing on composition, shape and colour, young artists will explore drawing techniques and painting methods to layer the artwork, creating depth and texture to bring this little bird to life.
Please note: This workshop is age specific to children aged between 6 and 11. Children must be accompanied by an adult caregiver for whom registration is not required.
