We shall have our regular section on what to plant this month with Elisabeth Fekonia, a preview of the February Open Garden by Dee Humphreys, tips on safely and easily cleaning gutters, how to source cheap rainwater tanks, and a talk on Permaculture Principle #2 - People Care.

Our main segment will be presentation by Susie Chapman, Coastal Catchments Northern Area Manager, Regional Landcare Facilitator, Healthy Land and Water. The title of Susie's presentation will be "The Circular Economy for Organics" which will cover a wide range of topics pertaining to organics, including composting. Susie is highly credentialed in her field and her presentations are always entertaining and informative.

Permaculture Noosa monthly meetings are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at Cooroy State Primary School Hall, 59 Elm Street, Cooroy. Doors open at 5.30pm. Simple but tasty, low cost meals will be available from 5:30pm. Many of our members and friends not only find this very convenient, but it is also a good chance to catch up with other members and get to know others in a relaxed setting.

A market takes place where we share surplus home grown produce and plants by giving, exchanging or selling. Entry is a $5 donation for non-members, $3 for members. The Entry donation entitles you to  a free raffle ticket and supper. Anyone who has genuine financial difficulties and cannot afford the entry donation will be excused. We will not turn anyone away. The meeting begins at 6.30pm and the night is complete with a "bring a plate" shared supper at 8pm. All welcome.
