Phil Emmanuel is known globally for his talent. It’s not a question of perspective, it’s a fact. His skill on a guitar and passion for music have been thrilling audiences for decades. Kevin Borich shares the same level of worldwide stardom. So how do you find a show that has both of these iconic musicians belting out their talent? You head over to the Tewantin Noosa RSL!
Phil Emmanuel is known as the greatest electric guitarist of all time. He has performed alongside a list of music gods and goddesses that is taller than he is. In 2000 he performed in front of 4.5 billion people at the closing ceremony of the Sydney Olympics. Kevin Borich is also hard to outshine, have played and collaborated with huge names such as Fleetwood Mac, Santana, and the Little River Band. Coupled together these two musicians represent exactly the phrase “Never gonna quit”.
If these two fantastic musicians weren’t enough, the Tewantin Noosa RSL’s beloved, rising star Strange Brew is also hitting the stage. Strange Brew’s name is apt when it comes to their music style; they have taken from a range of genres, mashed them all together and come up with a sound entirely their own. A strange brew it may be but they delight every member of the audience every time they play.
If you want to catch these fantastic musicians, then visit the Tewantin Noosa RSL on Friday 29 July at 8.00pm. Tickets are free so make sure you get in early to grab a god spot. If you are interested in seeing what else the RSL has to offer then check out their entertainment calendar at www.noosarsl.com.au.
